Change Team:
Game This Sunday, 4/11 @ South Boston
by posted 04/10/2021

Hi Maroon team parents :)

We have our first game this Sunday, April 11th in South Boston at 4pm.

Please have your player at the field, ready to warm up at 3:30pm with their stick, goggles, mask, mouth guard and uniform.

This year there are restrictions for how many spectators can attend games. For Southie, it's 1 adult per player.

You can find more information about the game by clicking the schedule button on the Arlington Youth Lacrosse League Athletics website.

I need to provide a roster to the Southie coach for COVID safety, so if your player is NOT coming to the game, please let me know.

Just one thing I remember from 2 years ago... this field has no bathrooms :) maybe that has changed.. but just wanted to throw that out there for planning purposes.

Thank you so much and please let me know if you have any questions!

Welcome to the season!

*Apologies for a second email, I have just updated this post with some new and additional information :-)

Welcome to the 2021 U15 Girls Lacrosse season.

We wanted to pass along some important information before we kick off next week.

Tuesdays- 5:45-dusk, Robbins across from Brackett Elementary

Fridays- 5:30-7pm, North Union Field in East Arlington at Thompson Elementary

Our first practice is this upcoming Tuesday, April 6th at Robbins.

You can find your player's game schedule by clicking the tab “Schedule” on the Arlington Youth Lacrosse League Athletics website.

Players will always need their stick, goggles, mouth guard, mask and water bottle. For games, they’ll need their uniforms which we will get to them soon.

Yes, that leaves us with two practices before our first game :-) Have no fear, we will make sure that the players are as prepared and informed as they can be before then.

It is so exciting that there are so many new players this year! At this level of lacrosse, players can expect to sharpen their fundamental skills, learn game strategy, and build confidence in a position they gravitate towards. Both teams have a mix of new and returning players which creates a wide range of skills and experience. Although we practice as a big group together (about 40 girls!), U15 was lucky enough this year to have enough players for two teams. No matter the experience level, the players can expect to have a lot of playing time on the field.

Lastly, we strongly encourage you to download the “SSU Play (SportsSignUp Play)” App. This helps us keep track of attendance for games.

Please reach out to us if you have any questions!
